Abhaya, as his name suggests is fearless – he doesn’t fear anyone or anything. While his surname (last name) means “deaf”, he listens well and keenly because listening is central to his profession as a lawyer. He has been a lawyer practising in all the courts of Delhi including the High Court and Supreme Court of India. He has handled 2000+ cases in his illustrious 29 years career. Abhaya also served as the President of the Central Administrative Tribunal, Bar Association for two terms and as its Secretary for two terms.

Abhaya is a life member of the Law Institute of India.
