FMCG, Healthcare, Real Estate and Social Development Sector – the four most competitive sectors is where Krishnan, an alumnus of IIM, Ahmedabad, has a rich 30+ years of pan-India experience. From launching L’oreal products in South India way back in 1991 to launching a new brand of Pan Masala in an already saturated North India market – he has done it all.

Krishnan’s core competence has been taking on so-called “dead markets” and so-called “difficult new products” and making them successful. As senior technical director of Futures Group International, he led two programs – WHO-ORS & DPCP (Dual Purpose Condom Protection) that were funded by USAID as part of PACT-CRH program in India.

Both programs won several awards, national and international. Subsequently as a consultant in many new ventures, startups, across different sectors, Krishnan’s ability to draw up strategies to effectively penetrate new markets, set up an organization from scratch and help them grow exponentially has been honed further.

Krishnan did a three-year stint as an entrepreneur early in his life, where he and his wife encountered severe losses. They struggled for many years as they repaid their dues. The event was a huge learning experience and made them realize the value of giving back and contributing to the community than just focusing on earning.

Krishnan is living his life purpose of “transforming lives” through ShikshaDaan and Executive coaching. ShikshaDaan is an NGO that Krishnan co-founded with his wife in 2012 and it provides scholarships to underprivileged, deserving students to continue their higher education after the 10th standard. Krishnan has coached scores of people that include AVPs, VPs and CEOs from a diverse range of functions and sectors, helping as a catalyst in their personal and professional growth. Currently Krishnan and his wife are on a multi year road trip titled “ShikshaDaan Yatra” to every district of India. This Yatra has been undertaken to advocate giving for education and identifying partners for ShikshaDaan.
